We are thrilled to announce that 20th Century Studios / Disney has clinched this year's top honor, the Platinum OBIE Award, as well as a gold OBIE for excellence. These accolades have been awarded for their exceptional work on the larger-than-life campaign, "Avatar: The Way of Water."
Known as the advertising industry's oldest and most prestigious honors, the OBIE Awards are a special time to acknowledge the most innovative and impactful campaigns of the past year. "We are proud to support and celebrate all of the talented individuals who continue to reimagine public spaces as open canvases that celebrate art and humanity," stated Anna Bager, President and CEO of OAAA.
The global trailer release, Avatar Day, was marked by a Times Square takeover of over 40 screens, featuring creatures flowing around the square. This effort was part of the largest-ever anamorphic 3D campaign, extending across 13 iconic locations worldwide.
We are beyond proud and honored to have had the chance to work with some of the most amazing clients and partners in the industry. Our contribution to the launch campaign for the movie event of a generation, working alongside Disney to create a standout 3D billboard, was an unforgettable experience.
